Because apparently, rescue never sleeps!

Scooby was found as a stray right here in Dayton, Ohio. Being as young as he is, we really thought someone HAD to be missing this boy. Surely somebody was looking for him, right?!

Unfortunately, despite our hopes, no owner was ever found.

And just like that, Scooby became part of the Ham and Beans Canine Rescue family.

But don't think for one second that this boy is sitting around feeling sorry for himself!

Scooby has places to go, people to see, and a forever family to find!

Scooby lives with other dogs, a cat and kids.

Scooby enjoys playing with other dogs and the kids!

Scooby is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, is scheduled for neuter, and is microchipped. He has no current medical conditions.

Breed Identification Disclaimer: At Ham & Beans Canine Rescue, we strive to provide the most accurate information possible about every dog in our care. However, in most cases, we do not know the dog's parentage and rarely have the opportunity to see either parent. Breed designations are based solely on information provided by shelters, previous owners, surrendering families, veterinary staff, or our best visual assessment. Because mixed-breed dogs can inherit traits from many different breeds, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any breed identification. We encourage adopters to focus on each dog's individual personality, temperament, energy level, and needs rather than breed labels alone.
