History:
Sampson was pulled from a near-by shelter. He was pulled into our care 8/13/2026
Personality:
When Sampson first arrived, he was skinny, struggling with skin infections, and his poor feet had taken the biggest hit. Those big ol' Great Dane paws weren't looking so great, and it was obvious this handsome boy needed some extra love and care.
But that's exactly what rescue is all about, isn't it? Taking the dogs who need us, loving them through the hard parts, and watching them blossom.
And BOY, has Sampson blossomed!
With proper care, good food, and a whole lot of love, Sampson has been making an incredible comeback!
🐾 His skin looks AMAZING!
🐾 His feet are back to being those big, beautiful Great Dane paws!
🐾 He's gaining weight and filling out, although he still has a little ways to go!
🐾 And most importantly, he's ready to start the next chapter of his life!
Cohabitation:
Sampson lives with other dogs, a cat, and kids. He does like to chase the cat when she takes off running, so a strong willed cat or no cats may be best.
Favorites:
Sampson enjoys playing with size appropriate toys. He loves to run and jump like a bunny when hes excited. NO he does not jump ON you, just around you!
Medical:
Sampson is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, is neutered, heartworm negative and is microchipped. He has no current medical conditions.
Adoption Fee: $400
Breed Identification Disclaimer: At Ham & Beans Canine Rescue, we strive to provide the most accurate information possible about every dog in our care. However, in most cases, we do not know the dog's parentage and rarely have the opportunity to see either parent. Breed designations are based solely on information provided by shelters, previous owners, surrendering families, veterinary staff, or our best visual assessment. Because mixed-breed dogs can inherit traits from many different breeds, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any breed identification. We encourage adopters to focus on each dog's individual personality, temperament, energy level, and needs rather than breed labels alone.
