History:

Tad came to us from another rescue. He was pulled into our care 10/31/2026

Personality:

Tad may have a few miles on his little body, but don't let his age fool you! Overall, this handsome little gentleman is in good health!

He does have some back issues, so he'll need a family who understands that his little body deserves some extra care and consideration.

But his personality?!

10 OUT OF 10. WOULD RECOMMEND. ⭐️😂

Let's talk about Tad!

🐾 Age? 11 years young!

🐾 Breed? Chihuahua mix!

🐾 Friendly? With pretty much ANYTHING willing to give him a cuddle! 😂❤️

🐾 Health? Overall doing well, with some back issues that will need a little extra attention.

🐾 Favorite activity? CUDDLING. And then probably more cuddling.

Tad isn't looking for a family to take him on 10-mile hikes or turn him into an Olympic athlete.

He's looking for the simple things in life.

A soft bed. A warm lap. Gentle hands. Plenty of love. And someone who thinks spending an evening snuggled up with a little old Chihuahua sounds like the PERFECT night. 🥹

Cohabitation:

Tad lives with other dogs, and a cat.

Favorites:

Tad just lives for the cuddles.

Medical:

Tad is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, is neuter, and is microchipped.

Breed Identification Disclaimer: At Ham & Beans Canine Rescue, we strive to provide the most accurate information possible about every dog in our care. However, in most cases, we do not know the dog's parentage and rarely have the opportunity to see either parent. Breed designations are based solely on information provided by shelters, previous owners, surrendering families, veterinary staff, or our best visual assessment. Because mixed-breed dogs can inherit traits from many different breeds, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any breed identification. We encourage adopters to focus on each dog's individual personality, temperament, energy level, and needs rather than breed labels alone.
